Hypnotherapy diploma

A new qualification being offered by the Centre is the Hypnotherapy Diploma in conjunction with the Cambridge College of Hypnotherapy.

You will also be able to complete the HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma) as offered by the NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy).

This is a 9 weekend course which qualifies you to practise as a hypnotherapist. It is taught by Helen Fogg and Ken Huggins from the Hypnotherapy Association.

The cost of the diploma course is £2,250 which includes 9 weekends of training (lunch and refreshments included) and all the course notes and materials. We offer a 10% early bird discount for anyone booking and paying in full by 31st December.  We can accept credit and debit cards.

If you are interested in becoming a hypnotherapist please call 01256 850521, or email us, to receive an introductory pack, and have your questions answered.

The course is  that of the Cambridge College of Hypnotherapy. We train you to become an effective and ethical hypnotherapist. There are many differing approaches to hypnotherapy training (e.g. analytical, Ericksonian, goal-orientated NLP, Guided Affective Imagery, suggestion therapy, etc.) and a basic introduction to most of the approaches will be covered in the course, whilst some will be dealt with in much more depth enabling the successful graduate to have a full understanding of these differing techniques and work within their preferred approach. The predominant perspectives will be Ericksonian and Analytical.

Practical demonstrations, “hands-on” learning plus a full background of theoretical knowledge. This will include how to set up and run your practice on completion of your training. Small, working groups will enable all students to gain the most knowledge and excellent supervision for each individual. What is required from the student is an open and enquiring mind. Academic qualifications are not a pre-requisite but a commitment to learning is. What is needed is a willingness to learn allied with a genuine liking for the people, with whom you will be working with in partnership, using a positive therapeutic alliance.

The training course would also be suitable for those people who wish to have a purely academic interest in the processes of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

This course has been examined for its professionalism, ethics and content by The National Council for Hypnotherapy, The Hypnotherapy Society, The Hypnotherapy Association, National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists and by the Association of Professional Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists. These professional associations have approved and accredited this course fully. All of these professional associations are independent of the course and may be joined on successful graduation, without further examination. Some of these organisations also offer free student membership whilst you are undergoing training.

You may also complete the work required for the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma if you choose, which is currently considered the most professional qualification in Hypnotherapy.

    Hello,

I am interested in the Hypnotherapy Diplma Course, I completed a seven day certificate course with EOS last year which covered hypnotism and regression. Is this sufficient background to apply for the diploma course?

    Best wishes
